Design ideas?

I want to get a scar covered on my belly. I have had to have major back surgerie four times and during one they went through my lower abdomen, hips and back. The scar is not centered ( most doctors don't think about this) it looks kind of like this : | : : | : : | : of course it is solid and about three inches long I want to incorporate this into a new tat so that it looks like part of the art itself and not a scar. I plan on getting my entire spine done also but I have to wait until they have replaced the original back. As it is right now the lower half of my back is all metal. Any ideas??

I dont really.. because I guess I dont really understand the scar and what not.. but im sure that if you went into a tattoo place they could think some ideas up with you!!

Just go to a studio and ask them to draw something up. They will trace the shape of your back and the scar, then incorporate it in the design or try to hide it.

i had a friend that had a scare covered with a tat. it got really bad infected. he had to go to the hospital with it. anonymous_ vamp1re has the right idea. go to the studio you want to get a tat at and see what they can do to incorparate your scare into a tat for you.

I agree with an0nymous. I'll also add that many of the questions asked here should not be asked here, instead they should be presented to an artist in a face to face meeting, or better yet several artists. It's like comparing a e-mail to a face to face professional consultation, meaning there is no comparison.
