well I got my industrial piercing about a month ago. and I notice today at the upper part of the piercing where the crusties show up, the area swell up around the bar... What should I do ???

Go back to your piercer to have them look at it. It could just be an irritation, or it could be infected. Are the balls on the ends tight against your ear, or is there extra room?

this happens often during the healing process of cartilage piercings. if it's the jewelry is in a funny angle some tissue covers a part of the bar. it's only been a month after the piercing, so it might swell up from time to time. if it's not getting red, there's no puss or any other unusual stuff, don't worry, it shouldn't be anything serious. of course it's always best to pay a visit to the pierce, he knows best!

Mine got that way and i had to take it out because it was going to turn into a staph infection so i would be careful and go see your piercer...
Be careful what youre cleaning it with and keep an eye on it...
