now that this site has considerably expanded into wildcat.de i figure that maybe one of you good people out there might be able to help me out on a search.
i have a 0 gauge tounge piercing that i keep a full acrylic barbell in. as you all could probally guess, full metal barbells of that size in the mouth are quite heavy and problematic when trying to talk, thus the super light acrylic.
anyway, the only barbells that i can find are just plain ball end pieces, no kind of tickler ends at all. i'm on a hunt to find a tickler end, of that size.
i've thought about purchasing a regular (14-10 guage) size bar end and having it drilled and tapped to accept my barbell treading. though i'm leary of spending the money of buying one, and then taking the time to find a thread tap small enough and find out that it doesn't work.
if anyone out there knows of a company or distributer out there in the world that caters to such needs, i'd be very happy to hear from you.
any ideas that might help out would be accepted with much joy as well.

wow. 0g? thats awesome. i dont think id be able to talk/eat with that! im not too sure, but i think either www.painfulpleasures.com or www.isbodyjewelry.com has large gauge accesories =)

well, yea... you'd think that such a large gauge would have adverse reactions on such things like talking and all that stuff.... but it's kinda not for me...
i used to have a horrible stutter, and when i didn't stutter i'd just generally mess up the sounds in words.... a speach impediment from hell to be sure... but when i got my tounge pierced, i had the piercer use a 6 gauge to start out... since then i've gauged it of course... now i don't stutter and rarely mess up sounds cause i have to be much more attentive to what my tounge is doing inside my mouth... rather than do what i used to and trust my mouth to form the correct words and stuff... you know what i'm saying i think...
also, the size of the gauge really begins to become a non-issue after a while... i think the 0 gauge is rather moderate for me right now... i can't believe i ever had something as small as a 6 gauge in at one time, i just can't imagine not having in a large gauge piece of jewelry... i dunno, i've just gotten really used to it...
