so when i got my indusrtail done .. it was all good.... but when i clean it its really hard to get it like completly cleaned out cause its still swollen and it hurts soo bad etc etc... and yea does anyone have any tips with that.. and about how long dose it talk before it dosent hurt to liek bump in to it... haha i would like to know cause im a curious monkey

i had my cartilage done just a hoop in it and i used q tips like the ones you use to clan your ears with. put some soap and water on it and lightly clean around it it should help. also ive seen at groccery stores numbing cream they have that just numbs the area and i used it and it works with out doing any thing else so see if you can find that. my cartilage hurt for like 3 months, i realized that the more you can learn to sleep on it the more it wont hurt as much so i hope my info helps!

dont do anything until the swelling goes down that was what i did with my and my never got infected this girl who lives up the block from me messed with it and did the salt water soak and hers got infected like all the time it was a gross site.. so dont bump into things

i wouldnt advis to get the longer bar in straight away, it best to allow it to heal as two seperate piercings then but the bar in after, it takes away all the pressure build up and allows the ear to "get used" to holdin a piece of jewellery, i wud always do it this way, every one has their own ways thou.

the q tip can be a bad idea cause it can leave little cotton strands in your piercing and get infected. i used spray on sea salt but my piercings heal fast. definetly dont take the barbell out, i suggest maybe a q tip with a piece of heave toilet paper or something that wont leave anything behind.

I don't have an industrial, but I do have two separate cartilegde piercings. If it's too painful to clean, I would just pour the sea salt on it without moving the piercing too much. My swelling went down tho after about a week. As for how long it's gonna hurt when you bump into things, my piercings are 1 year and 3 months and 1 year and 1 month and if I conk them good enough, they still hurt! Also, if I sleep wrong on the hoops, it hurts the next morning. Hopefully yours will feel better than mine.

ok I want an industrial eventually But looks like I'm in for a bit of pain...would you recommend piercing or punching?
