Ball Joints! There MUST be an easy way!

I am currently trying to expand my ear to take bigger rings. I only got pierced recently and stuck to studs till I got a 1.2mm ring. The only rings I can get are ones with balls joints (plus I like the look) and once i've put the ring in my ear it takes me a good 40 minutes to get the bloody ball to click into place! My latest buy was a 1.6x14 (im upgrading once every fornight) and I can't even get the ball to clip in while it's in front of me, let alone when it's in my ear and I can't see it! There MUST be an easy way to fit these b**tards! Anyone got any tips??

get some ring openers...there circlip pliers which when the handle is squeezed the ends move apart....stretches the ring open so u can fit the ball in!!! :o)

yeah get the pliers cause the bigger the gauges the harder they are to get in

I'll give you the really easy way out. Go to a piercer and have them change the jewlery for you. or just put the balls in. Usually, they won't charge you and if they do it shouldn't be much at all.
