hi again.
i had a piercing on my throat last year,it got kinda sore after a while so i took it out, it lasted a few months,
i loved it ..it was between my collar bones and i wanna get it done again...i neaver had any issues wiyh infection before.
any info on that area???
do they usually last???
i miss it so...(sssssigh)
ADVICE ANYONE?

since it is a surface piercing, it wont last forever.. and because of the area its in, it will take a long time to heal (constantly moving) but if you do get it redone get the piercer to pierce it just a bit deeper, so it goes under the scar tissue, it will help your piercing stay longer =)

I've had my sternum surface piercing for about a year now....it's doing ok, so i guess there's some hope.

I had a wrist surface piercing about 3 weeks ago, and its suddenly got really painful on one end. Doesnt appear infected though. I was considering taking it out, and maybe having it redone under the scar tissue too.

i was thinking of getting my cheek pierced...im sure theres a lot of movement there im just wondering have any of ye got thet piercing done???
also the one i got done a couple of months ago feels fine but theres a lump after appearing beside it!
its not painfull im just wondering will the lump go??
i have been keeping it clean as much as possible....what could have caused it and is it normal???
i have a scaffold in the same ear and i had no trouble with that.
any info???

the lump is just a build up of scar tissue, get some vitamin e oil and apply it to the lump 5 or so times daily, the lump should go away within a week or so =)

Ooooh, I wanted to have my throat done as well, between the collar bones! But my piercer said he would only do it, if I really insisted on it. Otherwise he would rather spare me the money, as it would probably get rejected anyway. Allthough I'm grateful for his honesty(he could have made some more money of me), it really bummed me out.
Are surface - piercings always temporary then? I mean, is it only a matter of WHEN, instead of IF they get rejected?
