Navel regection again??sweetpeagj - 2005-11-12 23:18:19 Uhr
I have had my navel done for the third time. The first two, I was told ,fell out because they were done to shallow. I have had the current one done for about 5 weeks now. Not shallow at all believe me and now there is some pain and pus. Any ideas on what I should do PLEASE!!

are you sure its not just normal healing fluids? its normal for them to be painful for a long time because of the constant movement of the area. my lower one was done about 7 months ago and its still healing. generally if its pierced under scar tissue, which seems to be the case, the scarring acts as a brace reducing your chances of rejection. navel rejections arent that common though are you sure its rejecting?

I am not sure. I have had little pain even for the first few days. Now it is painful and oozing. It is a yellowish color kind of looks like eye boogi stuff.

you mean as in send me a private message? you have to go to buddylist then click on my name at the right hand side and a typing box should come up. it sounds as though its just healing fluids and it may have taken a knock while sleeping or something. generally a infected piercing oozes out a greeny coloured pus. whats your cleaning routine?

No as being able to reply to the e-mails that get sent to me. I shower twice a day using anti-bacterial soap ( recommended by piercer) then cleaning with Bactine liquid. Some of the pain and tenderness has gone away over the last few days so I am hoping that that is a good sign. I want it completely healed before I bring my Umbrella Cockatoo home so if she sees the jewelry it won't be such an issue if she touches it.

hahaha good idea!! salt baths help alot also, im not sure about the products your using as we dont have them over there but i recall Bactine being mentioned, cant remember if it was good or bad though!!. let us know how it gets on, were more than happy to help ya out!
