Trouble with Im'sxtremly_pierced_n_tattooed - 2005-09-21 13:20:02 Uhr
hey i was just wondering what was going on, am i the only one having troube with the instant messages on here. i can read the ones i have and it gives me an error message saying warning: failed something or other.
just wondering if it was just me or anyone els ehaving problems too?

I was hoping someone else would comment on this sooner, but you shouldn’t be kept in suspense; yes IM’s are “down”. I had a member comment that she couldn’t read my IM to her, and we seem to get the same error message that you are facing. I’m sure that these technical problems are the result of the complexities of updating/improving the site, in a few days this problem should be solved. Sorry if this causes concern for anyone, Internet programming has been described as being as easy as “trying to staple Jell-O to a tree”, and for that the piercing.com staff deserves our patience and understanding as they are experiencing the inevitable “growing pains”. Don’t hesitate to contact piercing.com staff with your concerns, they are extremely quick to respond and more helpful than any other online body modification community that I know of.

Yeah should be fine by now! Sorry for that we switched the IM to SSL for security reason and there was a problem with ssl.piercing.com but we fixed it within 2 days or so?! ... Anyone still have problems????
