Yeah, cursing can get you into troubles :) just kiddin :) So what about punk rock? I hope you don't mean Blink 182 or Sum 41 or bands like these angels here when you say "punk rock" :| (no offence)

some songs of them are really good,but i would not call them "punk rock bands":))
i mean rancid,the exploited,the clash,guttermouth,millencolin,nofx,antiflag..and so and so!!
there are so many good punk rock bands in the world,and also in my country.. i also have one,i am singing in a punk rock band..but it's none of our bussines now:)

haha well i used to be punk (sounds like im 60 now) but now im not. Btw I (just like you) am a singer in a punk band called Sheep Thought. We aren't very famous.... yet! But we'll be - so get ready!
About the bands that you named - Rancid - this is a very new band and a very very new for me cuz i heard them like 1 month ago 10x to the guitarist of our band who wanted us to make a cover of Out Of Control - so they are'nt so bad :) The Exploited - that's of the bands that i worship :) Like Sex Pistols. The Clash are the real classic of the punk rock just like Suicide, Ramones, Dictators and so on. Gutter... and Millencolin equals to Blink and Sum (can't stand em) NOFX - i have a poster :) and Anti Flag have only one good album and it is Die For The Government. I still can't believe i gave SO MANY pounds for The Terror State

sXe (Straight Edge) is one of the most sensless things i've ever seen :) ok I'm not doin drugs either but y the @!#$ should I refrain from drinkin` or eating meat (or worst - being a vegan)? Well sorry if I offended some vegetarians/vegans here but I just can't find any reasonable explanation about being Straight Edge :)

there are many good reasons to be vegan. #1. it's healthier. only 2% of vegans are obsese. compare to the rest of this country and also vegans have lower rates of heart disease and other stuff. #2. animals are totured on factory farms. they don;t live life anywhere near the way they would naturally if they were wild and not trapped and abused on factory farms. #3. factory farms and slaughter houses produce A LOT of pollution. it's really bad for the environment. #4. raising animals for meat is a waste of land and natural resources. and before any one gets mad at me, i'm not trying to convert you all into being vegan(although it would definitly be cool if you did go vegan). it's just that you said you didn't understand vegans, so i decided to explain it a bit. if you would like more information about it, go to http://www.meetyourmeat.com/ , and watch the video. and going back to the topic of punk, i think hte calsh, the sex pistiols, and the ramones are the best punk bands ever. but i don't really listen to a lot of punk. i'm more into goth and industrial stuff like the cruxshadows and other darkwave bands. but the ramones still rock my socks. lol. i wanna be sedated is a really nifty song.
